Specific Skills:
1. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
2. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
3. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
4. Ensure food service and quality control
5. Prepare food order summaries for chef
6. Prepare and submit reports
7. Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
8. Supervise and check assembly of trays
9. Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
10. Establish work schedules
Additional Skills:
1. Establish methods to meet work schedules
2. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
3. Hire food service staff
4. Prepare budget and cost estimates
5.Address customers' complaints or concerns
