Drywall Installer  

Employer: Kabaili Paint and Demolition Ltd.

Job Location: Various Locations in Calgary, AB

Salary: $26.00 - $27.00 / hour

Terms and Conditions of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time (40h/week), overtime and weekends may be required

Job requirements:

Languages: English

Experience: 3 years of related experience

Education: No education is required

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads (Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)), Repetitive tasks, Hand-eye co-ordination, Manual dexterity

Personal Suitability: Dependability, Flexibility, Team Player, Reliability

Work Setting: Commercial, Residential

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel or broad knife
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
