Job Introduction

Jagwill Solutions Inc is looking to add Vice President- Sales to our team. We are looking for a natural leader who operates with integrity and has experience in building and leading high growth sales organizations with a proven track record of success to join us as our VP of Sales. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to build upon the established sales foundation and to imprint on the entire sales organization with their charisma, energy, and discipline. 

Role Responsibility:

The Vice President of Sales has the primary responsibility of delivering the right revenues; be that defined as a hard number, growth target, profit target and/or a market share goal. Secondary responsibilities include: Recruiting, Backfilling and Helping His/ Her Sales Team, Building the Sales Strategy, Devising Sales Tactics, and Creating and Selling Deals Him/Herself.

Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will use proven experience and will take risks to reach our target audiences, while also motivating and leading our sales team and account managers. The primary function of this role is to drive our sales team to meet the company’s revenue goals, and to create and maintain sales processes that support revenue growth in a data-driven, repeatable way.

Duties:

 

  • You will be responsible for developing, directing and executing the company’s sales strategy.
  • To develop and outgrow the financial and operating performance targets through market insights, strategy development, effective business planning and execution; contribute to the strategic planning process.
  • Think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends, set priorities, and make smart decisions to help achieved agreed upon goals.
  • Take a major role in key account relationships, closing complex deals and building ongoing relationships.
  • Working as a ‘player/coach’, you will drive top line results while building an effective and scalable outside sale, inside sales and lead generation organization
  • Instill an action-orientated, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to the Sales & Marketing Management.
  • Hire, train, organize and effectively deploy a high performing sales organization. Architect the team ensuring that it has the resources, processes and operational capabilities by which to outperform and scale.
  • Develop and execute an annual Sales and Marketing budget; set Sales and Marketing direction for key deliverables (KPI’s – identified and utilized)
  • Build, manage, develop, motivate, and lead a technically competent and flexible Sales and Marketing organization.
  • Remain abreast of the industry, competitors and trends.
  • Maintain a strategic view of the markets by building key relationships with customers, suppliers and, where appropriate, with competitors.
  • Lead the drive to communicate, collaborate and share best Sales and Marketing practices.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of the department for which you are responsible for further attainment of goals and objectives.
  • Review the analysis of sales and operational activities, expenditures/costs vs. forecast data to determine departmental progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • Adapt business model to capitalize on evolving customer needs and new competitive offerings.
  • Assist with corporate positioning and competition analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning.
  • Confer with other senior managers and administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives as a result of current status and conditions.
  • Serve as member of management committee on special studies.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate office(s) goals.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Review market analyses to determine client needs, price, and discount rates.
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to ensure that all departments you are responsible for, meets or exceed its goals.
  • Direct development activity and coordinate sales planning by establishing sales, quotas, and goals.
  • Negotiate client contract and work agreements.
  • Deliver sale presentations to key clients.         
  • Meet with key clients for maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Meet sales goals and controls expenditures of their department(s) or division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

  • Working knowledge of Profit and Loss Statements
  • Working knowledge of sales forecasting, programs, promotions and related techniques

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, sales team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive new business and close sales
  • The ability to exceed at; customer service skills problem solving attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven customer relationship building experience at senior level

Other Related Attributes That Would Enhance Hiring Consideration:

 

  • Multiple years of experience in sales and people management
  • Significant experience negotiating major company contracts
  • Experience in participating in or leading a significant change initiative (e.g., standardization or consolidation project, key National initiatives, acquisition, merger, startup) and managing across disciplines, functions or other organizational boundaries.
  • Attainment record of meeting and/or exceeding targets by managing process for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business as well as and not limited to growing an existing install base
  • Experience recruiting, managing, retaining and developing current and future leaders in the organization
