Preparing the consignment loading schedules and co-ordinate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems such as customer sales, order management, accounting.
Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes such as routing, transporting modes, product volumes, product mix as per monthly sales plan and yearly budgets- for specific markets.
Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments.
Drive (inbound & outbound) logistics operations, fleet management, and negotiation with freight forwarders for timely delivery of the materials required.
Generated MIS reports (in SAP & Oracle-based ERP applications) for review and decision-making by the management.
Formulating of Standard Operating Procedures, Contracts, Practices as per Industrial Standards.
Responsible for Inventory management of Warehouse stock. Detailed data assortment of incoming inventory. Keeping records of stock inventory (Goods Return, Damaged Stock) related to the Warehouse.
Creating vendors detail and PO in the Inventory and creating Invoices of vendors.
Manage and develop logistics staff.
Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.
Monitor company's or department's performance, prepare reports for senior management, and plan for changes to schedules and policies.
Respond to any issues or complaints.
Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
Negotiate with carriers, warehouse operators and insurance company representatives for services and preferential rates.
Requirements
Minimum College diploma is required.
5 years or more experience in related field.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Able to supervise 3-4 people.
Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
Strong team player.
Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports.
Salary & hours
$27.50 hourly for 35 hours per week
