Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction maintaining close contact with all customers including follow-up on concerns or other issues
Set-up company's operational processes, policies & procedures, standard operating procedures, staff recruitment, training, selection of suppliers, local regulatory requirements.
Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
Responsible for running overall operations, finance, maintenance and contractor recruitment
Provide guidance & direction for logistics solutions to customers & internal productivity/quality improvement projects
Develop, execute, and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit, and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for the preparation of proposals within the transportation department’s core expertise
Complying with transportation-related policies, as well as safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations
Develop annual budget for expense accounts and capital equipment related to the operations of Equipment, Facilities, and Fleet departments
Establish financial and administrative controls
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree is required
5 years or more experience in similar role
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficient in using Microsoft Office & Microsoft Access skills
Ability to supervise 5-10 employees
Must possess strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and communication skills
Key Skills required such as attention to detail, repetitive tasks, adaptability, organizational skills, time management, confidence, leadership, good team working.
SALARY & HOURS
$56.50 hourly for 30 hours per week
