Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Salary: C$20.50/ hr for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Qualification: Completion of Senior Secondary School or less.

Experience: No Experience is needed.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated LANDSCAPE LABOURER who is interested in working outdoors in a team environment completing all aspects of landscape. Individual will be responsible for various labour tasks that contribute to the successful execution and quality completion of a landscape project. Over the years we have been installing all types of hard and soft landscaping for high-end single family homes, multi-family residences, and commercial projects.  We do what we do because we enjoy being outside, working with plants and having a true sense of accomplishment at the end of each day.  

Main Duties of a Landscaper Labour (NOC: 8612):

• Load and unload of landscape construction material.
• Assist in receiving deliveries.
• Moving and organizing material and equipment on site.
• General cleanup of the area.
• Spread top soil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees as per the instructions.
• Assist with the construction of a landscape and related structure.
• Aerate, dethatch, water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees .
• Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snow blowers and other landscape maintenance equipment
• Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.

• Follow instructions and ability to listen to all team members.
• Perform work quickly and efficiently, demanding excellence in quality of work
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks
• Demonstrate competency in specific materials, methods, tools, equipment and techniques required to complete required tasks in a safe and responsible manner
