Professional Child Caregiver Position

We are looking to hire a professional full-time childcare provider. We have two boys aged 3 and 1 and we are looking for someone to help care for our boys while we are working.

Job Location: Vancouver, BC. Work in our home.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Manage nap schedules
• Supervise and care for children
• Take children to and from school and to appointments
• Tend to emotional well-being of children

Terms of Employment:

• Permanent full time. 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9-5.
• Be willing to work in Canada and stay for at least 2 years.
• Wage: $18 - $20 per hour
• We will give 10 days of paid time off each year at 4% of your pay.

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with young children preferably as a childcare provider.
• We prefer that you have a high school diploma.
• Good references.
• CPR and First Aid certificate or willing to get these.
• Clear criminal record check
• We are a cross-cultural couple, I'm from Vancouver and my husband is from Mexico City - If you speak Spanish that is a bonus, but NOT A REQUIREMENT
