Industrial mechanic and millwright
Salary $31.00 per hour, 30 hours per week, full time, regular, permanent position, max 44 hours per week, in addition performance bonuses are available.
Job Requirements: other trades certificate or diploma or mechanical, electrical, industrial courses or equivalent experience, 2 – 3 years of experience in industrial mechanics. Candidate to be a team player, able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications, with area of specialization: start-up and testing, renovating and restoring, troubleshooting, experienced in machinery installation, maintenance, service, repair, overhaul, new construction, machine set-up.
Duties: detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, repair or replace defective machinery parts, fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up, perform routine maintenance work on machinery, operate machining tools to fabricate parts, installing machinery and equipment, assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation)
