TRV Restaurants Ltd dba Admiral Pub & Grill located in TheHeart of North Burnaby at 4125 Hastings St, Burnaby, BC V5C2J3 with its warm wooden walls, inviting atmosphere, largebeer selection and live cover bands, the Admiral Pub & Grillemanates cosiness. The Admiral invites you to try offerings ofsignature dishes, popular appetizers and a pint of your localand international favourites. Evenings at the Admiral Pub &Grill are filled with excitement. From singing karaoke towatching sporting events, or dancing the night away on theweekends with our lively bands, there’s something foreveryone! We also support our local NHL team, the VancouverCanucks, by showing the live hockey games, including onSportsnet Vancouver, on our big screen TV’s throughout thepub.
Salary: $16.30 / hour

Job requirements
Languages-English
Education- Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program orcompletion of college program or other program in cooking OR2-3 years of experience as Cook
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities-Standing forextended periods, Work under pressure
Personal Suitability-Flexibility, Team player, Organized
Additional Skills- Prepare dishes for customers with foodallergies or intolerances
Specific Skills
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes andfoods all menu items (https://www.admiralpub.ca/menu-food.php))
• Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed bydietitian or chef,
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions,
• Estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and ordersupplies,
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas,
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food,
• Order supplies and equipment,
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers,
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies andequipment,
• Clean kitchen and work areas,
• Organize and manage buffets and banquets,
• Manage kitchen operations
