Job Description

Job Role:

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• Supervises the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition.
• Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff.
• Audit as per the health and safety regulations and other related laws and report non-compliance and take corrective actions to assure compliance to all safety requirements on a regular and daily basis.
• Prepare budget and cost estimates.
• Recommend or arrange for additional maintenance services.
• Develop and execute training to meet all job requirements and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
• Order, manage inventory and safely store sanitation agents and cleaning substances
• Deal with the vendors and agents for order supply and/or to meet with the job requirements.
• Assist cleaners in performing duties.
• Co-ordinate work activities with other departments and establish work schedules.
• Ensure payment has been received for specialized cleaning jobs.
• Respond to and resolve clients’ concerns, escalate matters as needed.

Requirements:

• Person should be minimum Secondary (high) school passed.
• No experience required, however if experienced then it’s an added advantage.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Should be willing to work in a hotel, motel or resort.
• Should have skills to supervise 3-4 people, janitors, caretakers and building superintendents and light duty cleaners.

Salary & Working Hours: $18.00 to $24.00 / hour for 35 to 48 hours / week
