A-1 Railings Ltd specializes in the design, manufacturing, and installation of quality interior railings, exterior railings, custom railings, gates and fences for home builders and residential customers in the Greater Toronto Area.

We are looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer for our growing team!

The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, costing, property management, deal analysis and negotiations.

Salary: $63.46 to $66.00/hour (To be negotiated), full-time permanent, 30-40 hours / week

Responsibilities include:

  • Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs,
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions,
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaign, and approve overall human resources planning,
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs,
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions,
  • Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, or other administrative services
  • Budgetary Responsibility - $1,500,001 - $4,000,000

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Must be have 5 or more years of experience in the Finance and Construction related industry

Must have Master’s in Business Administration

Must have specialization in creating financial statements, and financial planning

Experience with CRM system for accounting
