Bene Sushi Restaurant is in the heart of West Vancouver and offers classic and exotic sushi and other Japanese cuisines. We are looking for a Full-time, Permanent Food Service Supervisor to join our team!

Position Title

Food service supervisor (NOC6311)

Terms of Employment

Permanent & Full-time (minimum 30 hours per week)

Start Date

As soon as possible

Compensation

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour (may depend on qualification)

Overtime wage of $25.50 - $28.50 per hour if exceeds 40 hours per week

Benefits

4% of paid vacation

Job duties

• Assist in the daily operation and supervise activities of staff
• Schedule work shifts and establish work procedures for staff
• Maintain records of inventories, repairs, sales and wastage
• Maintain and order ingredients and supplies required for operation
• Assist in hiring service staff and train new staff in their roles and provide safety procedures
• Inspect and ensure food counter, equipment, and drink and food items meet quality control standards
• Resolve customer complaints

Qualifications

High School graduation, plus one or more years of related experience in food service or completion of a college program in related fields
