Salary: $28.00 per hour/30 hr per week; overtime: $42.00 after total of 44 hours in a week

Job Description:

• Prepares management reports for purposes including headcount, staffing, salary planning, etc.
• Coordinates new hire orientation, HR events, benefits open enrollment, and company-wide meetings.
• Ensures applicable tracking, compliance and reporting of HR related issues as required by applicable laws.
• Assists Manager in the coordination and support of key processes, including salary and budget planning, compensation, performance feedback, employee communications, succession planning and employee development.
• Provide support to employees by being the first point of contact for employee questions from either walk-in traffic or phone calls to HR.
• Provides guidance to employees and departmental heads on company policy, and general employment issues both tactical and strategic; investigate and advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
• Co-ordinate team meetings and log any actions
• Regularly assess the training and develop needs of assigned department(s) staff and coordinate and/or deliver the necessary training to address the needs.
• Maintains HR tracking system for any issue logging and resolution.
• Perform other HR duties as required.

Education and Experience: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years with relevant experience of 1 - 2 years is required.
