Job Description

Position Type: Full Time - Mon - Friday | Year Round Position

Description of Duties:

  • Accounts Payable including payroll, reimbursements, deductions, bonuses and vendor bill payments
  • Accounts Receivable including invoicing and chasing down receivables past due
  • Oversee WCB, taxes and business insurance
  • Edit, maintain and create standard operating procedures, forms and reports
  • Pull reports and update our sales, production, budget and cashflow plans
  • Oversee office inventory, maintenance and repairs
  • Key holder responsibilities for both office and banking
  • Assist in plan administration for group insurance
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Complete monthly and fiscal year end closures

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 Years experience managing the financial aspects of a business
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record and security check that requires 5 years of verifiable Canadian residency.
  • Enjoy working in a small office environment with a high level of independence and responsibility
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to keep a multitude of details and information organized and at the ready
  • Proven aptitude for learning quickly, problem solving and multitasking
  • Ability to communicate clearly in a kind and confident manner
  • Ability to confidently work with customers and vendors
  • Previous experience with Payworks and other CRM software
  • Willingness to be flexible and help as needed

Compensation: $20 per hour  + Health Benefits after 3 Months
