Employment: Part-Time, Full-Time (Minimum 20 hours per week)
Job Description: Our progressive, growing company is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in hospitality and customer service, but will also be willing to perform routine clerical tasks. Our client is interested in hiring a detail-oriented professional with the ability to pay attention to detail and make quick decisions during high-pressure situations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Taking, cancelling and changing room reservation requests.
- Investigating and resolving customer complaints or questions.
- Answering telephone calls, provide information to callers and relay messages.
- Processing guest departures including calculating changes and receiving payments.
- Maintaining an inventory of reservations, vacancies, and room assignments.
- Answering inquiries about the hotel and its services throughout the telephone, email or in-person.
- Handling wake-up calls and a myriad of other guest requests.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Read, write, listen, and speak English fluently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to creatively solve problems.
- Maintaining a well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-pace environment.
- Candidate must be located in Moosonee.
- Preference will be given to qualified members of the Moose Cree First Nation.
Salary: 18$/hr
