Job Description

One (1) permanent full-time position of Gas Station Supervisor (NOC 62010) is available at KRS Holding Englehart Inc. o/a Esso located at 141 Fourth Ave, Englehart, ON, P0J 1H0.

Main Duties to be completed as per the lead statement of NOC 62010:

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales staff, gas attendants, and cashiers to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assign duties and prepare work schedules for staff, including sales, merchandise, stocking, cleaning, and fuel pump monitoring.
Monitor fuel dispensers, ensure proper calibration, and report any technical or safety issues.
Oversee fuel inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
Manage and assist staff with store upkeep, labeling, merchandising, and seasonal displays.
Attend to customers in person or over the phone and resolve complaints related to staff behavior, product shortages, fuel issues, warranty returns, or exchanges.
Maintain optimal inventory levels for both convenience store items and fuel, implementing strategies based on seasonal trends and customer demand
Assist in hiring and onboarding new staff, including training them on customer service, point-of-sale systems, and safety protocols.
Ensure proper handling of cash, credit, and cheque payments; authorize returns and monitor refund transactions.
Prepare daily sales and fuel volume reports, track yearly performance, and handle purchase/sale entries and personnel records for management review.
Ensure workplace health and safety compliance, including spill response and hazardous materials procedures.
Monitor local competition in pricing, promotions, and services to adjust store strategies as needed.
Open and close the store, manage shift handovers, and ensure security protocols are followed.
Perform the duties of subordinate staff (e.g., cashier, fuel attendant) during peak hours or in their absence.
