Highland Redi Green Turf Farm is hiring two general farm laborers.
Position: Farm Laborers
Full time position
Wages: $20 /hr. (40 per week)
Vacation Pay: 4 % of the gross salary
Benefits: Our farm will provide accommodation @ $30/week
Location of employment: 16897 Windsor Rd, Pitt Meadows, BC V3Y 121 & 2178 Marion Rd Abbotsford, BC-V3G 2j5
Starting Date: As soon as possible.
Job duties will be:
Duties include weeding, preparing land for planting, fertilizing, cultivating, spraying, irrigating and harvesting crops, pipe and drainage repair, piling, grass trimming, field packing, general field maintenance, Manual labor, moderate to heavy lifting wooden pallets of produce and
sods.Cleans paved surfaces, litter, and trash receptacles; maintains cleanliness and appearance of equipment. Loading & unloading of produce and related materials to vehicles at the
farm. Assists with any other jobs on the farm as needed, including some manual labor
tasks, Conduct all work in a safe, timely manner.
No education, no previous experience is required, will train. There are no specific language requirements.
This job is in outdoor conditions, Fast-paced environment, requires Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods,Walking,Bending, crouching, kneeling and Tight deadlines.
