Nursery Workers (10) – Ten vacancies to fill

Location : 25805 FRASER HIGHWAY Aldergrove, BC- V4W 2B1
Salary: 17.85 hourly / 30 hours per week
Optional Accommodation @ $30/week is available
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Starts as soon as possible
Requirements to be eligible for this position:
Education :No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Will train
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Plant, weed, fertilize, and water plants, shrubs, and trees, using hand tools and gardening tools, Mix and prepare soils
- Harvest plants and pot / re-pot plants
- Feel plants' leaves and note their coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease.
- Evaluate quality of plants & shrubs
- Dig, cut, and transplant seedlings, cuttings, trees, and shrubs.
- Tie and bunch flowers, plants, shrubs, and trees, wrap their roots as required.
- Clean work areas, Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas
- Tie and secure plants, Weeding, Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants
- Water and tend to plants
