Education & Experience: High School with 1-2 years of related work experience
hours: 30 to 40 per week
Terms of employment: full time/permanent
Main Duties:
.Calculate amounts of required materials and estimate costs
. Read blueprints and drawings of the premise for the execution of painting job
. Fill cracks, holes, and joints with chalk, plaster or other fillers
. Clean surfaces and remove previous paint by means of sandblasting, scraping, sanding etc.
. Mix, match, and apply in specified quantities to make the desired colors to equipment, buildings, bridges, or other structures, using brushes, spray guns, or rollers
. Clean up all equipment, including brushes and spray guns
. Erects scaffolding, rigging and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes
. Offer assistance and advice to customers on selection of materials, designs and color.
