Position: Long haul truck driver (TEER 73300)

Vacancies: 1

Wage: $32.05 per hour for 40 hours per week

             Overtime @$48.07 after 40 hours per week

Term: Full-time and permanent

Education Requirements: High-School graduation.

Experience: Will Train. Previous Experience will be an asset.

Language Requirements: English (Moderate)

Work Location: 1015 Peardonville Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2T 6K4

Job duties:

• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
