Pho Fresh is seeking an Ethnic food cook, a full-time, permanent position to join their Vietnamese Restaurant located at 5571 16th Ave, Delta, BC V4M 2H7. The successful candidate will work on site in a fast-paced, noisy production environment at a wage of $20.50 per hour for 40 hours per week, with employment starting as soon as possible.
Job description
Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their preparation, while preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes. Prepare specialized dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards. Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and order supplies and equipment as needed. Maintain inventory and accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that the kitchen and work areas are kept clean and always organized.
Personal suitability
Language: English, spoken Vietnamese will be an asset
Education: no degree
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
