Job Description: Mattali Drywall Inc.is looking for a Construction Site Supervisor who can start immediately. Our office is located at 2339 2 Ave NW Calgary AB T2N 0H3.

Location: On site; Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely

Wages: $40.10 per hour/ 30 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full time permanent position

Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Weekend

Job requirements: Language:  English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Job duties:

• Oversee apprenticeship training and labour support
• Supervise painters and decorators, drywall installers/finishers, insulators, and related construction projects
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities
• Train or arrange for training workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
• Estimate costs and materials
• Leading/ instructing individuals

Work site environment: Dusty, Noisy

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Work under pressure, Physically demanding

Work setting: Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Various locations

Credentials

First Aid Certificate

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Own transportation

Valid Driver’s Licence
