Wage rate: $31.00 per hour, 30-40 hours a week, overtime will start after 40 hours per week
Eligibility:
- English language and mandarin
- Completion of a college, university, or other formal program in religious studies, theology, divinity, pastoral ministry, or a related field
- A period of study with a senior minister or plus 3 years of experience in chaplaincy, pastoral care, or a related religious position.
Job Duties:
- Organize and conduct uplifting worship sessions, prayer groups, and faith celebrations that resonate with the residents’ spiritual needs and foster community connection.
- Be present for residents and families during pivotal moments — offering spiritual support during losses, memorial reflections, and moments of personal milestone.
- Facilitate devotional times, reflective talks, and moments of silence that help residents find comfort, hope, and renewed purpose in daily life.
- Offer nurturing one-on-one visits to listen, pray, and support emotional and spiritual well-being, honoring each individual’s story and beliefs.
- Work with activity coordinators and staff to integrate spiritual themes into social, educational, and wellness programs that enrich daily living.
- Be available as a trusted guide for residents, families, and team members seeking spiritual understanding, moral support, or guidance rooted in compassionate service.
- Participate in building a welcoming, inclusive environment — celebrating diversity, encouraging fellowship, and strengthening the sense of belonging for all residents.
