Pay: CA$53 per hour

Steam Sauna Inc. is a well-established Canadian manufacturer with over 50 years of experience designing and producing advanced steam generators and custom cedar log sauna rooms. We serve commercial and residential clients across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Operations Manager to lead and oversee our multi-team manufacturing operations across both electrical products manufacturing and wood products manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end production management in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and Ontario workplace health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning of all production departments
- Evaluate and monitor daily operations to maintain efficiency and performance targets
- Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages and ensure uninterrupted production
- Plan and organize daily operations across multiple production teams
- Direct quality control inspections in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management standards
- Hire, supervise, and train employees, or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques
- Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work
- Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budgets
- Supervise 5–10 employees and coordinate with on-site contractors
- Work with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for operational outcomes
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Engineering/Industrial Management, or a related field required
- Equivalent experience will be considered
Experience
- 5 years or more of progressive management experience in a manufacturing environment
Certifications
- ISO 9000/9001 Quality Management Certified (required)
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate (required)
Computer and Technology Knowledge
- Word processing software

- MS Excel
Industry Experience (Required)
- Electrical and electronics products manufacturing
- Fabricated metal products manufacturing
