We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Welders.
Job Duties:
Perform structural welding of steel trailer frames, chassis, and components according to blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, measurements, and technical specifications to assemble trailer structures accurately.
Operate welding equipment to weld metal parts and components accurately.
Fit, align, and secure trailer parts using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools prior to welding.
Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality and structural standards.
Repair or reinforce trailer frames and metal components as required during production.
Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance issues as needed.
Follow workplace safety procedures and work with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
Secondary school completion preferred.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of welding or metal fabrication experience, or completion of a welding apprenticeship or recognized training program, is required.
Basic knowledge of MIG welding, structural welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes is required.
Welding certification, CWB certification, and experience operating welding tools and related equipment are assets.
On-the-job training provided to enhance skills and ensure compliance with company and safety standards.
Physically able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials as needed.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Flexible availability, including overtime or occasional weekends if needed.
