Responsibilities
Tasks
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of insulation workers, apprentices and labourers to ensure efficient project execution
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with subcontractors and other project personnel
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies, provide ongoing instruction and guidance to team members
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan and oversee insulation work
• Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity and efficiency
• Requisition, order, and manage materials, tools, equipment, and supplies required for insulation projects
• Prepare and maintain reports including progress reports, production reports, daily toolbox talks, and timesheets
• Recruit, hire, and recommend personnel actions such as training, promotion, or discipline
• Set up and ensure proper use of machines and equipment as required for insulation work
• May perform insulation duties as needed to support project completion
