We are seeking a skilled Terrazzo Worker to manage the full stone fabrication cycle. The role requires expertise in shop-based precision finishing and complex site installation, along with the ability to provide technical guidance to apprentices.

Job duties:

This group performs some or all of the following duties:

• Prepare, measure, and mark the surface to be covered
• May prepare cost estimates and orders.
• Perform indoor pneumatic wet polishing and field installation, including Miter Edge joints and custom angle fitting.
• Operate a full suite of manual fabrication tools, including heavy-duty saws, angle grinders, and portable edge routers for precision processing; independently maintain tool consumables.
• Expertly handle high-risk materials (natural marble/specialty granite) with strict breakage control during measurement, cutting, and placement.
• Instruct apprentices on precision techniques; mix/apply specialized adhesives; ensure professional-grade grouting and replacement of damaged components.

• Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
• Cut, polish, and install marble and granite
• Remove construction waste from the work site
• Clean up the work site after installation
• Works in a safe manner that complies with the company’s safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary school education is required
• Completion of a three-years apprenticeship program or 2 to 3 years of professional stone finishing and installation experience.
• Able to work in dusty and noisy environments
• Able to handle heavy load, up to 23 kg (50 lb)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Punctual, reliable, and teamwork-minded
