We provide repair, demolition, and improvement services for apartment buildings and houses, including flooring, painting, drywall, and interior finishing work. We seek a hard-working Demolition Worker to join our team.
Job Duties:
Remove drywall, flooring, cabinets, fixtures, trim, and other materials during residential renovation projects.
Assist in interior demolition activities using hand and power tools.
Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and debris.
Remove rubble, waste materials, and demolition debris from work sites.
Sort and dispose of demolition materials in accordance with company procedures.
Prepare work areas before and after demolition activities.
Assist painters, flooring installers, drywall installers, and other tradespersons during renovation projects.
Maintain clean and safe work sites.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform other related labour duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 months to 2 years of experience in construction, demolition, renovation, restoration, or related hands-on labour work.
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, material handling, demolition methods, and workplace safety practices.
On-the-job training will be provided to enhance existing skills and ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced work environment.
Physically capable of repetitive work, heavy lifting, and prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as required.
