- Deliveries to various locations in the surrounding areas
- Local routes (guaranteed home every day)
- Truck provided
Employment terms and conditions:
- Permanent
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Monday to Friday
- Shifts start between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., and vary based on assigned routes
- Weekend, overtime, and Statutory Holiday work may be required
Salary:
- Compensation is a combination of daily base pay, pay per stop, mileage, load, sales, and performance, equivalent to an average of $30-$45/hour, with potential up to $55/hour
- Daily base pay increase after 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months of employment
- Salary increases per company policy based on annual reviews and adjustments

Requirements:
Languages: English
Credentials:
- Class 1/AZ driver’s license required at the time of hire
- Clean commercial driver’s abstract
- Must be able and willing to pass a company road test

Security and safety: Criminal record check
Duties:
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Operate straight trucks and tractor/trailers (containing reefer) safely to transport and deliver goods at various delivery sites in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Perform proper equipment maintenance, monitor reefer temperature, and report mechanical issues and damage in a timely manner
- Operate on-board computer and handheld scanner
- Manually sort and unload products (using dollies and other safety equipment, and a two-wheeler with a load weighing up to 350 lbs)
- Accurately collect customer payments, safeguard company funds and follow GFS banking policies
- Manage paperwork to include register, credits, pick-ups, etc.
- Complete daily check-ins accurately in a timely manner
- Collaborate with management and sales representatives to communicate customer concerns
- Adhere to all safety/compliance regulations and procedures
- Attend department meetings
- May perform other related duties as needed
