We seek a hard-working General Construction Labourer to join our team.
Job Duties:
Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, drywall, flooring materials, and renovation supplies.
Assist with surface preparation, demolition support, and renovation activities.
Prepare and clean work areas and remove debris and waste materials.
Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
Assist painters, drywall installers, flooring installers, and other skilled tradespersons.
Perform physically demanding labour tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform other general labour duties in support of painting, renovation, and finishing projects.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 months to 2 years of experience in construction, demolition, renovation, restoration, or related hands-on labour work.
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, material handling, and workplace health and safety practices.
On-the-job training will be provided to enhance existing skills and ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced work environment.
Physically capable of repetitive work, heavy lifting, and prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions.
Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to various job sites, as required.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as required.
