We provide residential and commercial services including demolition, structural repairs and reconstruction, framing, exterior restoration, surface preparation, scraping, sanding, and painting.
We are looking for a reliable General Construction Labourer to support our renovation and restoration projects.
Job Duties:
Load, unload, and transport construction materials and move materials to work areas.
Assist with residential and commercial renovation and demolition activities.
Mix, pour, and spread construction materials such as concrete as required.
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, shoring, and barricades at construction sites.
Assist carpenters, drywall installers, painters, flooring installers, and other skilled tradespersons as required.
Assist in demolishing structures using appropriate hand and power tools and sort, clean, and remove salvaged materials.
Remove rubble, debris, and other waste from construction and renovation sites.
Operate hand and power tools and other construction equipment as directed.
Prepare, clean, and maintain residential and commercial work areas.
Perform other labouring activities at construction and renovation sites as directed.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use required PPE.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 months of experience as a general construction labourer or in construction or renovation is required.
Physically capable of performing demanding work, including repeatedly lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Comfortable working at heights and using ladders and scaffolding when required.
Capable of prolonged standing, bending, twisting, walking, climbing, and performing repetitive physical tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by project timelines.
