Wage Rate: $22.00 per hour.

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Language: English is required.

Education:  No formal education is required.                

Experience: Min. 2 years related experience is required

Positions Available: 1

DUTIES:

• Advise on horse conditions and implement training plan
• Supervise the feeding and administration of medication to the horses in consultation with veterinarian
• Recognize horse injuries and work with the farrier
• Supervise employees including the exercise rider grooms and hot walkers
• Preparation of horses for morning workouts an races
• Convey instructions to jockeys and exercise riders
• Training and development of stable employees

Working Conditions:

Outdoors, dusty, noisy, physically demanding, lift up to 50lbs, bending, crouching, kneeling

Essential Skills:

Problem Solving, Decision making, job task planning and organization
