KANATA CONSTRUCTION LTDis looking for (15) permanent F/T Construction labourers for its busy construction company to work in its operations in Vancouver and its surrounding areas, in the province of British Columbia. 

Kanata Construction prefers candidates with some construction labouring experience in the concrete settings, general construction experience will be considered upon demonstration of commitments and wiliness to learn. Training will be provided.  The company is committed to hire candidates that can handle heavy loads and are willing to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding and energetic environment.  Flexible and willing to work shifts.  Candidates must possess a clean criminal record.  No education required.  Language of work:  English. 

Salary compensation: $20.80 /hr. for 40 hours per week.

Duties:

• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Assist tradespersons in construction activities
• Clean, prepare and organize jobsites at the beginning and end of the day.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
