Salary: $30.00 (CAD)/ hour

Number of Positions: 1
Expected start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Various locations in lower mainland, BC and/or as per company’s contracts with its clients
Job Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
- Precisely measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials.
- Build and install floor beams and subflooring, walls, and partitions.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Finish surface of woodwork in houses and building, using hand tools and paneling.
- Work on new projects, remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
- Supervise other construction workers.
Job Requirements
- Completion of high School.
- Completion of apprenticeship program OR minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the trade.
- Trade certification would be an asset but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision.
- Positive and cooperative attitude.

- Financial assistance to relocate from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1000.00 to qualified candidates
