Blue Lane Transportation Inc. has immediate Long Haul Truck driver position available to fill. Applicants are recommended to have minimum of 6 months long-haul highway experience including mountainous terrain and team driving. Experience is not mandatory. Drivers are required to have a clean drivers abstract and Class 1 driver's license with an air brake endorsement. Starting wage begins at 28.00/h mileage pay. Bonuses of up to $500 per month are given to top fuel performers. This position is full-time/permanent. We are an equal opportunity company reaching out to all races, genders, and social groups.
We will assist newcomers to Canada who are legally able to work with licensing conversion costs. Trainers are available for newcomers.
Job duties include:
-Hauling refrigerated fresh and frozen goods across Canada and the United States.
-Closely monitoring the climate-controlled refrigeration units to ensure product is stored at appropriate temperatures.
-Responsible for daily completion of all required paper work such as freight bills, load sheets, log books, etc.
-Record logbooks via ELDs and use equipment navigational systems.
-Responsible for performing pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip equipment inspections. Including on the road preventative maintenance.
