Education : Requires a college diploma (community college, institute of technology or CEGEP), an apprenticeship training of less than 2 years, or more than 6 months of on-the-job training.
Experience : Minimum 2 years

Work Settings : Nursing Home
Duties and Responsibilities :
• Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse; report or record under the
supervision of a nurse
• Monitor fluid intake and output; observe or monitor patients' status
• Document patient care on charts; perform other procedures as directed by nursing
and hospital staff
• Transport patients by wheelchair
• Carry messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments
• Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Help inmates for Changing, Bathing, Grooming
• Serve food time to time and feed inmates if necessary
