Construction Labourer

Job Description:
Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
Load or unload construction materials.
Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.
Remove rubble and other debris at construction using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
Perform site cleanup.
Unload materials from trucks and place them at the proper location on the site; distribute materials to contractors.
Assist specialty craft workers, such as roofers , and painters, with any tasks they might need.
Assist in demolishing buildings.
Follow instructions from supervisors.
Skills required:
Ability to lift heavy equipment.
Ability to work in all weather.
Team worker.
Pay rate:
$26.50 per hour
Education and Work experience:
No formal education or work experience required.
Some general construction labour experience is an asset.
