Construction worker

Working conditions: Salary $32.00 per hour, full time, 40 hours per week, permanent, regular position.

Requirements: Experience: 1- 7 months of experience in the construction environment able to work outdoors, at various job sites in Ontario, handling heavy loads, weight handling, up to 45 kg (100 lbs), physically demanding, construction specialization: residential, driveway, sidewalks and curbs, custom homes, masonry (bricks, stone, concrete blocks, etc) personal suitability: reliability, team player.

Duties:

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Assist heavy equipment operators
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Assist in demolishing buildings
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Perform miscellaneous laboring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
