Nebb Forming Ltd. is a concrete forming construction company in the GTA servicing primarily customers in the residential construction industry. We are looking for a Form Setter to join our team immediately.Our main office is located at 41 Ritin Ln, Concord, ON L4K 4W6.  However, this role will require on-site work at client construction sites throughout the GTA. This is a unionized, full-time position with an hourly salary of $44.65. The language of work for this position can be English or Portuguese.

The main responsibilities for this position include:

• Verifying formwork, steel reinforcement materials prior to applying concrete into forms or surfaces, and informing any abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Applying concrete, leveling its surface and compacting it to meet construction specifications.
• Operating power vibrators, straightedge or float and other construction tools to achieve the desired finish.
• Ensuring the concrete has the desired finish and taking corrective measures as needed.
• Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures as needed to achieve the desired results.
• Applying hardening, waterproofing, and sealing products to the concrete.
• Repairing, resurfacing and renovating concrete structures as needed.

You must have the following qualifications:

• Extensive experience working as a concrete form setter or related position
• Specialized expertise in low-rise residential concrete forming
• Valid Working at Heights training certificate
• Valid WHMIS training certificate
