Machining Tool Operator
The Hydraulic Company is recognized in the hydraulic and custom fabrication business as being reliable, customer friendly and experts in the industry. Our family run business prides ourselves on our abilities to properly diagnose and provide an effective solution to our clients hydraulic and manufacturing needs. We can identify the problem, complete the necessary repairs, and return the machine/equipment ready to resume work.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Independently sets up machines and tools.
Must be able to perform basic machining operations, turning, threading & boring.
Observes and monitors machining process and re-adjusts fixturing, tooling, or cutting parameters if necessary.
Operate other manual machine tools such as milling machines or lathes, as well as hand tools.
Machining components to tight tolerances and accuracy
Fulfills additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications: (experience needed and education)
High school Diploma or equivalent required.
Horizontal boring mill experience is an asset.
At least 6 months of related experience
Salary: 24.25$ / Hour
Bonus: Yearly bonus at the sole discretion of the employer which can reach up to 6% of annual remuneration.
Benefits: We provide 100.00$ per month towards a private health insurance coverage, at the discretion of the worker.
Job Type: Full Time Permanent, 40 hours per week
Language: At least intermediate English speaking is required.
