Location:             Calgary, Alberta

Salary:                  $30.00 per hour

Hours worker per week:               40 hours per week

Overtime:           to be paid in keeping with provincial employment standards

Education Requirements:            secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Language Requirements:             English

Experience:                        1 – 2 years of experience

Terms of Employment: permanent/full time

Start date:          ASAP

Employment Conditions:             Day, Evening, Weekend

Work Settings:                  Construction Sites

Transportation:                Valid driver’s license; wiling to travel

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Familiarity with tools
• Expertise in vinyl  and Hardi longboard
• Working in all weather conditions

JOB DUTIES:

• Measure, cut, trim, and prepare materials for assembly
• Operate equipment (such as man lifts and swing stages) and erect scaffolding and pole jack systems
• Fasten, attach, and apply materials to the surface of buildings
• Use hand, air, and power tools, such as knives, hand or power sheers and snips, laser cutting equipment, and light metal-working equipment
• Inspect the finished product to ensure specified standards and quality
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Comply with safety standards and procedures
• Ensure exterior cladding and building envelope adheres at minimum to building codes and regulations
