Hydraulic Mechanic
The Hydraulic Company is recognized in the hydraulic and custom fabrication business as being reliable, customer friendly and experts in the industry. Our family run business prides ourselves on our abilities to properly diagnose and provide an effective solution to our clients hydraulic and manufacturing needs. We can identify the problem, complete the necessary repairs, and return the machine/equipment ready to resume work.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to diagnose hydraulic problems.
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and mechanical equipment.
Adjust, repair, or replace machinery’s defective parts.
Look over machinery and equipment to detect and investigate defects, irregularities, and malfunctions. Detect defects and excessive wear in machinery and identify slight differences in dimensions and shapes of component parts.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and repairing hydraulic pistons or seals.
Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required for machinery.
Capacity to rebuild hydraulic components and mechanical assemblies such as torque hubs, gear boxes, etc.
Qualifications: (experience needed and education)
High school Diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education or technical degree is an asset.
At least six months of related experience is required.
Salary: 27.25$ / Hour
Bonus:Yearly bonus at the sole discretion of the employer which can reach up to 6% of annual remuneration.
Benefits: We provide 100.00$ per month towards a private health insurance coverage, at the discretion of the worker.
Job Type: Full Time Permanent, 40 hours per week
