Machining Tool Operator
Kalrob Machining is looking for a Manual Machinist / Millwrights to join our team! Kalrob is a general machine, welding, and fabricating shop within the Agriculture, Construction, Manufacturing Industry. Located in Picture Butte, Alberta.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Set-up and operate manual lathes, boring mills, broaching machines, drill presses, milling machines, surface grinders, metal cutting saws, tapping machines and tool grinders.
Read and understand charts and tables
Independently plan sequence of operations required for assigned projects
Repair machine tools and parts
Fit and assemble components to close tolerances
Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings
Verify measurements and parts with precision measuring tools
Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making
Qualifications: (experience needed and education)
Experience in using conventional manual machines
Experience with heavy equipment
At least 6 months of related experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
Salary: $25.25-$32 / Hour depending on experience
Bonus: Yearly bonus at the sole discretion of the employer which can reach up to 6% of annual remuneration.
