Houseman/woman
A lakeside spot near Sherwood Park. Take a 90-minute segway tour of Edmonton to explore, or grab your clubs and head five miles to Rundle Park Golf Course or Broadmoor Public Golf Course. Unwind in our pool and fitness center.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The houseman/woman will report to both the Maintenance Worker and the Housekeeping Manager
Under their direction, saltwater pool to be tested, cleaned, and treated.
Guestrooms need to be deep cleaned and hotel common areas kept clean and in a state of good repair.
During the winter, parking lot needs to be sanded and, during the warmer months, lawn mowed and landscaping beds weeded.
Qualifications: (experience needed and education)
Successful candidates will have at least 3 months of janitorial or custodial experience and light maintenance skills.
Experience with pools and pool equipment an asset
Available to work on rotating shifts
Must be friendly, authentic, caring, thoughtful, hardworking and guest-focused.
Ability to work in team as well as independently
Salary: $18 / Hour
Benefits: Extended health, life insurance and disability after 3 months
Job Type: Full-time permanent, 40 hours per week
Language: At least intermediate English is required.
