JOB DESCRIPTION
Human resources and organizational development VP is responsible for the smooth and profitable operation of a company's human resources department. This role supervises and provides consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, like compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labor relations etc.
EMPLOYMENT LENGTH: PERMANENT Full Time Job, weekly 35-40 Hrs
LANGUAGE OF WORK: ENGLISH
WAGE: $65/Hr
JOB DUTIES
The duties of the Human resources and organizational development vice-president at Inspectest Consulting will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee an organization’s recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes
- Plan employee benefit, payroll, health and safety programs
- Facilitate and monitor the implementation of standardized human resource processes
- Adhere to all internal policies and legal standards.
- Effectively structure benefits programs to attract and retain top talent
- Work with technical team to design, integrate and implement human resource software systems for better efficiency
- Establish objectives for the company and formulate or approve policies and programs
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
- Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement company policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall personnel planning
- Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff
- Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
QUALIFICATION
- A university degree or college diploma in Human Resource, business administration, commerce or other discipline related to the company's product is usually required.
- 3-5 years of experience as a middle manager
- Good understanding and knowledge of HR practice, legislation and trends
- Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and co-ordination skills
- Competent in full HR spectrum ranging from salary structure, compensation and benefits, organisational development, insurance management, performance appraisal and any other HR related functions
- Ability to conduct regular analysis of the needs of the organisation and evaluate, develop, implement and manage HR programs and policies.
