INDICAN ENTERPRISES LTD. is looking for a “Food Service Supervisor” to join their restaurant being operated as SANGAM RESTAURANT & CATERING located in Mission, BC, Canada.

Position: Food Service Supervisor
Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time (40hr/wk)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $26.45/hr.

Language: English

Education: Completion of secondary school
Experience: 1 - 2 year experience in food industry

Location: D100, 7871, Stave Lake, Mission. V2V 6B2

Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020) will have to perform all of these duties:

• Passion for the kitchen & serving guests.
• Supervise & co-ordinate the staff and the kitchen workers.
• Supervise and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• May participate in the selection of food service staff.
• Assist the higher management in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
• Plan ahead and properly to meet work schedules.
• A positive and team-oriented attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment in the kitchen and restaurant
• Exceptional Customer service skills – able satisfy and exceed guest expectation
