Job Description:
-Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting.
-Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.
-Wrap and package prepared meats.
-Remove bones from meat, grind meats.
-Weigh meats for sale.
-Prepare special orders.
-Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products.
-Cut beef, lamb, pork or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for
further cutting, processing or packaging.
-Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use.
-Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses
-Remove feathers and singe and wash poultry to prepare for further processing or packaging.
Requirements
-Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience performing similar duties
-Good English communication and writing skills
-Work site environment Cold/refrigerated Work setting Supermarket/grocery store
- Accurate, Flexible, organized, reliabile, team player
-Able to handle heavy weight
-Work well under pressure
-Should be able to work where there is need of long standing hours, bending, crouching, kneeling
and physically demanding
Salary & hours- $19.00 / hour for 30 to 35 hours / week
