Machinist
At FGL, we specialize in new molds, designed, engineered and manufactured to meet our customer’s specifications. Our comprehensive services include custom machining, mold alterations and maintenance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
Study sample parts and plan the best sequence of operations for mold build and repairs
Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of manual machines and hand tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations
Fit, spot and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools
Verify dimensions of machined parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Diagnose issues, problem solve and repair in field injection molds
Trace water lines and repair any issues found
Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor
Complete and maintain inspection reports
Qualifications:
At least 24 months of related experience
Experience working on an EDM is an asset
Salary: $26.00-28.00 / hour depending on experience
Bonus: Potential for profit sharing at year end of up to 5% of annual salary

Language: At least intermediate English is required.
