Job Description

NACA Media locates in Metro Vancouver. We are mainly dedicated to provide children and youth with practical experience in film acting, performing arts, and to promote multiculturalism among them. Our main operation includes commercial and charity performances, performing art training classes, original film and television productions and international cultural exchange activities. Our unique training methods focus on discovering the children's talent and strengthen their artistic ability through innovative practices, as well as inspiring their imagination and creativity. We also influence and raise the recognition of multiculturalism among young people through stage performances and film productions. We organize various cultural exchange activities to enhance the interaction between local youth and youth from all over the world. We’re looking for a Human Resources Specialist to grow with us.

 

Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Specialist (NOC 11200)

Position Available:1

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Language:English

Education:University degree or college diploma in human resources management or related field.

Salary:hourly wage of $37.50,work 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

Annual: $78,000

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and collective agreements
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes
  • Hire, train and supervise staff Train, direct and motivate staff
  • Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Manage contracts
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information

Qualifications:

  • 3 years+ work experience human resources management or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation, payroll processes, and HR information systems.
  • Exceptional people skills, diplomacy, and a customer service focused attitude.
  • Good understanding of the full recruitment process.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and team management abilities.
  • Attendance, diligence, punctuality, reliability.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
