JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set-up company’s operational processes, policies & procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, staff recruitment, training, selection of suppliers, local regulatory requirements.
• Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
• Responsible for running overall operations, finance, maintenance and contractor recruitment
• Provide guidance & direction for logistics solutions to customers & internal productivity/quality improvement projects
• Develop, execute, and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit, and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for the preparation of proposals within the transportation department’s core expertise
• Complying with transportation-related policies, as well as safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations
• Develop annual budget for expense accounts and capital equipment related to the operations of Equipment, Facilities, and Fleet departments
• Establish financial and administrative controls

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• 5 years or more experience in similar role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office & Microsoft Access skills
• Ability to supervise 5-10 employees
• Must possess strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and communication skills
• Key Skills required such as attention to detail, repetitive tasks, adaptability, organizational skills, time management, confidence, leadership, good team working.

SALARY & HOURS

$61.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
